This Bear Advancement Excel Spreadsheet is a workbook of FREE spreadsheets developed by Todd M. Lynch, a Cubmaster for Pack 444 from Elkton, MD, and in the DelMarVa Council. This is for use by Cub Scouters to keep track of scouts advancement using the new requirements being implemented in 2017. Many scouters have used the Cub Trax spreadsheets for the current system, these spreadsheets operate in a similar manner. The spreadsheets have an instructions page with details on how to use them and how to contact Steve with questions.
A special thank you to Jeff Freeman from Pack 3673 in Bozeman, MT for updating these spreadsheets and donating them to us.

I would love to be able to edit the files to add the boys' names rather than have Scout 1, Scout 2, etc...

ReplyDeleteI have the same problem...
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful! Thank you so much for doing all of the work of this.
ReplyDeleteGreat spreadsheets. Is there any way for Steve to replace the original spreadsheets with the unlocked version on this blog? Primarily all of my work is done via my Android phone since we don't have Internet at home, and the app for the Excel spreadsheet does not allow for unlocking with password or using "save as" described in the directions above. I really love the idea of having this information compiled so neatly at the touch of my fingers.
ReplyDeletethank you!!!
ReplyDeletethank you!!!
ReplyDeleteI am having problems with the Webelos Spreadsheet - When I try to print the Electives worksheet, the printout is incomplete. Any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteI found an incorrect formula on the "Core Adventures" tab. The formula for "Paws for Action" should be (for column E - copy to remaining columns):
ReplyDelete=IF(COUNTIF(E51:E62,"A")>0,IF(COUNTIF(E51:E54,"A")>3,IF(COUNTIF(E56:E60,"A")>1,IF(COUNTIF(E61:E62,"A")>1,"C","P"),"P"),"P")," ")
This is awesome! Thank You so much - I was just about to make up a spreadsheet for our den when I found this! Thank you for your hard work!

ReplyDeleteI have been using your spreadsheets as a den leader for a while now and find them very useful. I am now the training coordinator for my pack and intend to share this resource with the new den leaders. We added Lion Cubs to our pack this year. Do you have any plans to create a spreadsheet for Lion Cub dens?
DeleteAny plans to update the Bear spreadsheet with the revised requirements that happened at the end of 2016?
ReplyDeleteWe did not do these trackers, so it will be up to the individual who donated them, and we have not heard anything yet. Thank you for asking.
DeleteThe revised Bear tracking sheet is wonderful -- thanks so much for putting this out! One question: Is there a way to add additional sheets for more Scouts? I need one for that 15th Cub . . . .
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for these tracking sheets.... I used your Wolf one last year and I can't wait to use the revised Bear one this year. Your time/effort in creating these spreadsheets is so very appreciated!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are so wonderful, I have been using them since my Tiger year, thank you so much! Just curious if anyone has seen updated Webelos and AOL sheets. We have Trooptrack, but I keep these sheets on my own and thank goodness I did, on more then one occasion they have been a lifesaver!
ReplyDeleteThanks again!
