Cub Scout Religious Square Knot Faith in God PRINTABLE Tracking Work Sheet Primary

Although the picture shows the quarterly activity as being a requirement for the religious square knot, the actual PDF has been updated and lists the 12th article of faith as the requirement for the religious square knot.

If anyone has any other tracking sheets for the Religious Square Knot for any other religions, I'd be happy to post it on this site also  Click here to contact me.  I just happen to have this one, so I am posting it now.  This is a tracker for the Faith in God program for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  The requirements in red are the requirements that need to be done to earn the religious square knot.  I have also done a tracking sheet for girls (below) if you need that one.

I like to add the date in between the square you check off & the wording so I know when they completed it.  I always print this tracking sheet on cardstock, and I print one for each boy to be kept in my leader binder next to their tracking sheet for Belt Loops, and Age Group (wolf, bear, or webelos).  I keep a different tab in my binder for every boy.  Behind each tab, I keep all 3 tracking sheets (Age Group, Belt Loop, Religious Award).  Then I have complete information on each boy and it is quick and easy to find.  It helps to do it this way if you do one requirement one week and a different one other weeks.  Not every boy is there every week.  By doing this, I can always know where each boy is at, and it is all in one place.  I keep a roll, and next to the roll I write down what we did that week, and then every couple of weeks I update all the tracking sheets for every boy.  If the parents ever have questions, I always have a place to look back at on the roll, and I can always copy each tracking sheet to show them where their boy is.

Cub Scout Webelos PRINTABLE Tracking Work Sheet

Above is the front page, below is the back page to a Webelos tracking sheet to be able to keep track of where each boy is on requirements towards the Webelos Badge, Arrow of Light, Compass Points Badge and Emblems, and each of the 20 Webelos Activity Badges.  I like to print this tracking sheet on cardstock, and I print one for each boy to be kept in my leader binder next to their tracking sheet for Belt Loops, and Religious Award.  I keep a different tab in my binder for every boy.  Behind each tab, I keep all 3 tracking sheets (Age Group, Belt Loop, Religious Award).  Then I have complete information on each boy and it is quick and easy to find.  It helps to do it this way if you do one requirement one week and a different one other weeks.  Not every boy is there every week.  By doing this, I can always know where each boy is at, and it is all in one place.  I keep a roll, and next to the roll I write down what we did that week, and then every couple of weeks I update all the tracking sheets for every boy.  If the parents ever have questions, I always have a place to look back at on the roll, and I can always copy each tracking sheet to show them where their boy is.

Paper Napkin Ring Printable for the Blue & Gold Banquet

Here is a paper napkin ring printable so you can make up your napkins and silverware ahead of time and have a pile ready to go to make the line go through faster.  Plus, they add a lot to the decorations!

Clothespin Cub Scout Neckerchief Slider or Napkin Ring for the Blue & Gold Banquet

Thanks to Stephanie Bayles for this tutorial on making these adorable Cub Scout Neckerchief Sliders.
 
I just loved making these because they were easy and fun. I didn't have to sand them. They each came out with a little bit of different personality! I handed them out to leaders at Roundtable while telling them facts from "100 cub scouts". (There aren't quite a hundred here, but close enough!)


To make these, you will need these items. 1 INCH FOAM BRUSH, #1 PAINTBRUSH, APRICOT, BRIGHT YELLOW AND BRIGHT BLUE PAINT, CLEAR SPRAY, GLUE GUN, GLUE, SLIDER RING, BLACK SHARPIE OR BLACK PAINT. If you have a very steady hand, use black paint and a very small brush to outline the neckerchief and dot the eyes.

1. They are usually pre-sanded and have a light coat of laquer already
2. Paint with blue to almost the "head". Let dry.
3. Paint a gold stripe around the "neck" and then an upside down V shape. Let dry. 
4. If you are outlining the neckerchief in black paint, do that now. Use the handle end of the brush to dot eyes. Clear spray paint over everything. Dry completely.
5. If you did not already outline in black paint, use the marker after the clear spray has dried, or it will bleed into the wood. 
6. Glue on a loop. I use 3/4 inch pvc pipe, sliced into rings. Super cheap, glue-able, and strong.

You could also glue on tiny strips of gold fabric for the neckerchief.
